The MHAS Logo

Structure

  • A grouping of pairs of joined equilateral triangles in silver against a sky blue background. The words ‘LIVE LONG LIVE WELL’ run below the grouping and within the blue square.

Explanation

  • This grouping of ‘units within the whole’ appears to be floating or progressing upwards from a lower background of deep blue towards the light or knowledge

  • The segments can also represent the many different medicinal and healing discoveries and technology that can complement and integrate to form a holistic healing whole, which is what the Malaysian Healthy Ageing Society is all about.

  • The triangles are ancient symbols to represent the male and female forms. When joined, they form a whole. Each whole, is again a segment or a microcosm within the macrocosm – to illustrate the interrelatedness and co-existence of everything within this universe.
